Personal papers include correspondence, diaries and journals, speeches, and other printed matter relating to Roosevelt's trip to Haiti in 1917, Roosevelt's campaign for United States Senator, 1914, and for New York State Governor, 1918, New York State post office appointments, federal patronage, Wilson's re-election campaign of 1916, and other political issues. Also, correspondence with Winston Churchill, Alfred T. Mahan, Theodore Roosevelt, and Woodrow Wilson, and some family correspondence.
